This is an old-school hardware store with a wide selection and friendly owners. The only hardware store in downtown Lawrence, they recently added wine-making equipment and even yeasts.
I called today because I have done business with them in the past and they showed up when I was looking for a FFL. I called and asked if they do gun transfers and the answer I got was "not today" and then the guy immediately hung up on me. Wow, that was the rudest exchange I have had over the telephone with someone who I wanted to do business with. But honestly you can find everything they sell online cheaper anyways.
