I have used Enterprise for years. They are my go to. You can shop you ya drop, but I have found Enterprise is the all around best.
04/2017:Received excellent service here. Show up early if your appointment is close to closing time; they often are busy on Saturdays, especially at noon. Despite the wait, I felt I received personalized attention and service and will definitely be coming back. I have always used Enterprise and have only had a negative experience at one location (in Overland Park). I will now choose to use the Lawrence location instead. I found Courtney to be especially helpful.
Long story short - car wasn't available for DAYS after the reservation was made for. Manager lied to me about what their insurance policy covered. Asked for refund and he denied it and blamed the insurance companies for taking longer to fix my car. Interrupted me and wouldn't listen to me when I brought up an issue with their rental. Charged my card anyway without my authorization. Didn't apologize for anything and claimed they did nothing wrong. Lied about what he originally told me about the insurance policy. Said it was my fault the car wasn't available in time cause I made the reservation at the worst time due to them sending cars out for Harvey. Lied about not getting commission or incentive. If they didn't, why couldn't those charges just be waived? It's illegal to claim a product or service covers something and doesn't. Horrible experience and they will take advantage of everyone and lie.
06/2017: My last visit wasn't so great. I was first given a dirty stinky car, and when I asked for a better one, I was given one smaller than what I reserved and paid for. This isn't the service I usually get--or expect--from Enterprise.
IF YOURE READING THIS GO SOMEWHERE ELSE FOR A RENTAL CAR!! My personal vehicle was left in their parking lot for LESS than 24 hours and was hit. I call and the manager says not his problem and they won’t even check the cameras. It was clear to me that he’d already known my car had been hit which just makes me believe it was an employee.. absolutely ridiculous. My company has been using this enterprise location for years every time we need vehicles but going forward we are definitely not. Skip the headache and go to Hertz it’s down Iowa right before I70.
So my second rental here in last 3 months - and car problems both times - first time car smelled of smoke, second time car was so dirty. Back seat had stuff spilled all over it. They tried both times to make it right with a discount and service was good - but bottom line the cars should be right - that is why you rent -
