Rented a car for the weekend and was very happy with it, but I forgot to top off the gas tank when I dropped it off, and I was charged $75 for what would've cost me $10 at the pump. Turns out they don't tell you that they charge $9 per gallon if you forget to top off the tank.
Very pleased with our rental experience. Would use them again and would also recommend. Be advised if you turn the car in early, there isn't a refund.

Never had a bad experience with AVIS. The guys in Lawrence are extremely helpful and informative. They don't hassle you to buy extra BS. Easy in and out place. Cars are always clean and run fantastic.
Employees are very friendly and funny. They also make you feel good. They offer you coffee and make you feel welcome. They make you relaxed. It's a very nice place. Great customer service.
