Been coming here for years in between classes. The protesters and fanatics are a good form of entertainment in front of the building during the school year.
The area in frond of Wescoe Hall is called Wescoe Beach. It is a common gathering place on campus, and the spot you want to be when KU reaches the final four in basketball if you are in Lawrence.
The building itself makes no sense whatsoever from a functional or visual standpoint...I think that's why I love it.
I do love what happens out front on the "beach". It's a hot spot for live culture and an odd building.
