Stayed at this dorm my freshman year. Due to size, it has a family feel for a dorm, but the building itself definitely needs an upgrade

My friends daughter stayed here and they had to threaten legal action because of the mold in the room (not just one room, its everywhere). She also confirmed what others are reporting, they WILL NOT let you tour this dorm before you move in....then they wont let you out of your contract once you "accept" your keys.
When I was 15 . My sister as a freshman at ku.. went there little brother sister weekend . Had a great time. I'm 51 now.
