The food was fine. I think they try a little too hard to be cutting-edge which results in few of the breakfast "classics" on their menu and a slightly high price on everything. Example, I'm not sure if they were supposed to be there or not, but my friend ordered the hash and it had a lot of apples in it. Just seemed a little weird.
Friendly, helpful staff that made good recommendations from the menu. Creative variety of happy-hour small plates that were pretty solid and fun to share. House music was a little loud for comfortably conversing across the table, but I tend to prefer quieter restaurant environments.
Biscuits and gravy: The biscuits were huge and very bready. With that much biscuit the dish was very filling. The gravy was actually very good. I very much enjoyed the green onions. There wasn't enough gravy for all of the biscuit, but I couldn't eat all the biscuit anyway so it turned out to be enough.
Overall: Food is pretty good. Service was excellent. Prices were only a little high. I would go back.
I don't have any negatives about the service. Everyone was kind and accommodating. The server was very good.
Yum, yum and yum!!! As laid back or as fancy as you want it to be but most of all, amazing and cozy atmosphere that's great for dates or a groups of friends. Your tastebuds will be so excited!!
Delicious food, especially the homemade pasta. The space is quaint and cozy and perfect for dates or group events alike. The portions were a little on the smaller side, so we rounded out the meal with espresso and homemade dessert, which was perfect. It might be preferable to get there before 6, otherwise, have a reservation. However, we did see plenty of walk-ins get seated as well, but if you want to secure a table, have a reservation.
Details: I've only had brunch here, but quite enjoyed it. I was meeting 4 friends, but they were happy to seat me while I waited for the everyone to arrive.
Coffee: the black coffee tasted like dark roast (which is good), but definitely over-roasted beans making for a slightly burnt flavor.
Loved the cocktails and the selection. Had a few appetizers that were very good.
