I loved this place because whenever you need help finding something, there is always a worker there to help right away. Most of the stuff is easy to find and they have a great selection. Going from organic fruits and vegetables, to delicious ice cream. It is also cheap when it comes to your big brand names. They even have their own store brand which is also very cheap. That is why I love this Hy-Vee.
More expensive than other chains, but quality is better so you get what you pay for. Lines are always long and move slow, with management standing around. A few self check lanes would fix this issue really quickly. Otherwise would highly recommend
I went in to get flowers for a friend and Karen P in the floral department was amazing. She greeted me right away and asked if I needed help. She really helped me pick a beautiful bouquet and arranged it wonderfully. I really appreciate it! I wish I could include a photo!
What a stroke of good luck stumbling upon this store! I can't be specific yet about the reasons I love Hy-Vee; it was my first visit and I only needed two things. Still, it was easy to find what I needed, as though they understand how I think. Love the light, the volume setting for the music, the authentic friendliness of employees, and the spacious aisles. I will be back!
Usually Hy-Vee is a very pleasant experience. I generally purchase mostly meat and salmon. Today after walking through the meat section, I reshelved the items previously selected in my cart and left the store to shop elsewhere. Thus, this was a 1 to 2 star day...normally a 4 star day.
