Received a quote online for a new premium at what looked like a reasonable rate. Since it was less than what I was paying at the time, I decided to switch insurance companies to this. All was well for two months, then, as I was about to make an online payment, I noticed I was unable to. I kindly inquired about this, when I was told that the underwriter calculated a new monthly price for the premium which was $50 a month higher than what I was paying. She claimed it was because of a prior speeding ticket on my record. I think this is bogus, as I had clearly specified the ticket when asking for a rate quote. Not only did she do this without warning, she had an entire two months to look over my past record to see if there were any red flags and notify me of the rate increase. Clearly Rochelle Tramp operates a bait and switch operation, and I cannot in good conscience recommend this business to anyone. Buyer beware!
Im not sure what the bad reviews were all about. I can only speculate that there is another side to every story... My experience has been perfect and if you ran a business, you would operate it the exact way that Rochelle, Todd and Shelly have handled my business with them and a recent claim. I hit a deer on a Tuesday morning. I sent Todd the police report number that morning for him to start the claim. I had the estimate to fix it that evening in my inbox. Unfortunately the car was totaled due to exceeding the allowed damage compared to the value of the car. State Farm gave me a very generous settlement and I had my check in hand in under 7 days. If I would have had the title, I would have had the check within 3 days of the accident. Todd then handled my car loan on the new car I purchased. Everyone involved made a very bad situation very easy to deal with. I would strongly recommend Rochelle and State Farm to anyone.
Rochelle is one of the worst I have come across in insurance agents. She will not follow through with what she says. If she says she will call you back, don't expect a call back from her. She also isn't truthful, and states things that are not true. For example. She stated I have had my car for almost 3 years. UM NOPE.. try again, I haven't even had it 2 years, and the whole time it has been insured with your agency. She will not admit when she is wrong and make it right, which is super frustrating and expensive. If you are looking for an agent to go with, I highly HIGHLY recommend do not go with Rochelle tramp. I will say though, Shelly who answers the phones is great! Rochelle not so great!
We have experienced 2 car accidents and have several teen drivers and Rochelle has provided us with excellent customer service to meet all of our needs. She was reachable right away after my accident telling me exactly what I needed to do before the police even arrived which calmed my nerves, since I had never been in an accident before. When I have a question Rochelle or Todd get back with me right away or by the end of the day with an answer. They are very accessible and make sure we can reach them when we need them.
Rochelle and the office staff have been wonderful. They are helpful and efficient. I am extremely pleased with their service.
