Jackson was phenomenal. He found the specific bike rack I was looking for and was honest about a small imperfection on the rack which had no bearing on the functionality of the rack. To some, this would be a big deal. For us - not so.This honesty is always a breathe of fresh air. The price was spot on.

Gary seems knowledgeable and I think he genuinely believes his policy is fair. However, because I don't enjoyed the GIANT I purchased from him, and he didn't take it on return or exchange it for a bike I could trust, I give Cycle Works two stars.

Gary says I wouldn't find a bike in his shop without the GIANT's problems. As such, he would not exchange the GIANT for a bike I could trust unless I could show there was something wrong with the GIANT that he couldn't explain or fix. That was disappointing. I just wanted a bike I could get on and ride.

Cycle Works comprises of very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Cycle Works is willing to serve anyone that walks into their doors, regardless of the question or experience level. If you have a Walmart bike or a h

Gary and his mechanics did an extremely thorough job of overhauling my Specialized Allez at a reasonable price. I'm convinced that my old shop, in a different town, had my rig set up completely wrong. Take your ride here. You won't be sorry!

Each time I took the bike into the shop I was assisted, but was nonetheless progressively less satisfied with the GIANT. I asked to exchange it for a bike I could trust.

Fantastic place, people, service. I am relatively self-sufficient with my bikes, but when I do need something, this is one of my go to places. They're also very active in the organized and not so organized local biking community. They do lots of demo days, rides, other events.

Wishing you and Cycle Works the best of success!!

Jackson has great interpersonal skills. This was the first time I dealt with this bike shop. Thank you very much Jackson.

I stored the bike in my garage last winter, and was excited to ride this spring. The front tube blew out of the tire when I gave it air.

The store has a nice purchase policy where purchasers get free maintenance for the first 30 days followed by a complimentary service. I used the policy 4 times. (1) New tubes had to be put in after day 1 because I evidently ran over some microscopic thorns. (2) The handle bar moved around in its mount when I put my hands on the grips. A free bolt tightening fixed that. (3) The rear chain derailleur went into the spokes (Gary explained to me it must have gotten bent) and caused a high speed accident at the bottom of a steep hill. It was remounted (at no cost to me--thanks Gary), and seems to work ok now. (4) The brakes are unbearably loud. Gary explained that all brake pads are loud like this and that they just need to adjust how they are mounted. Cycle Works adjusted the brake pads three different times and the problem persists. Its very annoying to roll up to every stop squealing.

I purchased a GIANT bicycle last fall. It rides like it's made from egg shells and paper mache.

I told Gary I think this GIANT is a lemon, I am too fat for it, or I am using it wrong. He assured me none of those things are true. He seems to know a lot about bikes, so I trust him when he says the bike is ok. Despite Gary's trusted assurances, I didn't enjoy the bike because I remained (and remain) worried that one of its components will snap, slide, squeal, bend, break, pop, melt or disintegrate while I'm riding.
